Wonsie Australia by Julie O’Donovan

I am so excited to introduce you to this wonderful new brand of clothing called Wonsie, designed by my dear friend Julie O’Donovan. Julie and I use to work together at Bonds and since our departure, Julie decided to put her garment design experience and professional contacts to good use in order to help others. Wonsie bodysuits are designed to help parents, especially the ones who are really searching for them for special reasons, particularly popular amongst parents with children who have Autism. However, they are also perfect for any toddlers who are simply too tall for regular store bought onesies. I know i have had difficulties finding size 3 bodysuits for my son and i am absolutely in love with Wonsies, not only they look great but they keep my sons tummy and back warm at night.

Wonsie's description:
· made from 95% cotton rich, jersey knit fabric which lets skin breathe
· designed to allow kids to play without feeling restricted
· longer in the leg than a regular bodysuit to prevent wandering hands from reaching into nappies
· allows for easy nappy changing and toileting thanks to press studs located at the crotch
· in popular basic colours which will not show obvious staining in the darker shades
· tag free to stop any irritation which would normally come from annoying labels
· bound in a comfy soft rib knit around the neck, armholes and legs which will not dig into skin

They are available in 3 colours: grey, navy and white and they come in 3 sizes: 2-3, 4-5, 6-7. Wonsie has a special offer, if you purchase 3 or more bodysuits you will save 20% by putting in the code WONSIE and shipping is FREE for customers in Australia and NZ. Make sure you visit Wonsie’s website today and take a browse through the range.

Gold Plated Soiree

I have had a desire to style a golden metallic soiree for some time and I must admit i just love the rich and warm hues. During our recent workshop with Dewi of Sweet Bloom Cakes, we had two thoughts in mind, glamour and elegance. We were certainly set on the gold & bronze palette but wanted to add touches of white to the mix as gold can be little overpowering at times.

This season we were inspired by many things and one of them is the gorgeous wedding gown collection by Veluz Reyes. We decided to incorporate jewels, ruffles and lace into the latest cake collection by Sweet Bloom Cakes. Dewi also incorporated some delicate ranunculus on one of the cakes which tied in perfectly with the gold painted ropes. One of the highlights of the shoot was using the mini cakes which were adorned with sugar veil lace and a selection of handmade gems.

Choosing the venue was easy, as soon as I laid eyes on this luxurious venue called The Garden on Forest, I knew we had found the perfect spot. This amazing Heritage Estate is full of charm; it has some of the most beautiful chandeliers and whimsical décor. Working with Tanya from Tindale Images on this luxurious soiree was the icing on the cake. She captured each moment in her own unique way and interpreted the vision I had beautifully.

Fifty Shades of Grey

For the past few weeks I have been hearing and reading all about Fifty Shades of Grey! From TV, to newspapers, trashy mags and facebook everyone is talking about Christian Grey. So last week I decided to find out what all the hype is about. I purchased the ebooks trilogy from Angus and Roberson and as soon as I started reading the first book {Fifty Shades of Grey} I was instantly hooked. If you haven’t read the books then you won’t understand the excitement of this post but If you have I am sure you would agree that you are absolutely smitten by Christian Grey.

So much so that I have actually received an email from one of our facebook fans aka “Mrs. Robinson” who has hosted a “50 Shades of Grey” party for her girlfriends and I am sure you would agree that she has done a brilliant job. As soon as I read that Universal Pictures has acquired the film rights to the entire “Fifty Shades” trilogy I have been thinking who I would like to play each character. The amazing Mr Grey. Oh my. And after I came across the ad above I think Henry Cavill is the ultimate man! Wouldn’t you agree!!!

Plot of the book: Fifty Shades of Grey When literature student Anastasia Steele interviews successful entrepreneur Christian Grey, she finds him very attractive and deeply intimidating. Unworldly and innocent, Ana is shocked to find she wants this man, and excited when she realises that Christian wants her too. As they embark on a passionate love affair, Ana discovers more about her own desires, as well as the dark secrets Christian keeps hidden away from public view . Fifty Shades Darker Daunted by the dark secrets of the tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Ana Steele has broken off their relationship. But when Christian proposes a new arrangement, she cannot resist. Soon she is learning more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven and demanding Fifty Shades than she ever thought possible. Fifty Shades Freed Anastasia Steele always knew that loving Christian Grey would not be easy, and being together poses challenges neither of them had anticipated. But, finally together, they have love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of infinite possibilities. Then just when it seems that they really do have it all, tragedy and fate combine to make Ana's worst nightmares come true.

Winter Edition of My Little Jedi Online Magazine

Welcome to the winter issue of My Little Jedi magazine. I am thrilled to share the forth issue which is bursting with amazing party inspiration.  Firstly, I would like to thank our fabulous contributors and devoted readers for your continuous support.

Most of you would know that at the start of each season we provide each contributor with a different theme and they put their own unique spin on each event. I am constantly amazed by all the beautiful contributions that land in my inbox. The last issue had a rustic look and feel and this season we have chosen a completely different theme…It’s all about glitz and glamour so prepare yourself to be dazzled! We had an absolute ball at the last photo shoot which was held at The Garden on Forest venue, I feel very privileged to have had the chance of working again with Tanya of Tindale Images and Dewi of Sweet Bloom Cakes.

Winter is the season to hibernate but that doesn’t mean you should stop creating and celebrating. It’s certainly the right season to rug up; drink your favourite vino whilst eating scrumptious roasted chestnuts. Well, this is what I have been doing lately, particularly late at night while everyone is asleep. I hope this winter issue will inspire you to celebrate your special events in style. Rug up, make yourself a cup of camomile tea, put your feet up and enjoy reading! xx
