Daisy said: We had a relaxing picnic
brunch to celebrate Mother's Day. The theme of the affair is "Mum Makes
the Perfect Bow" which reminded me a lot when I was little, I would only
trust my mother to tie the big bow behind my dress and I can't wait to do the
same for my little girl and tying the perfect bow on my little boy's sneakers.
Mother's Day is a family affair with
the young and old and what better way to celebrate it than on a picnic table in
the park. Where the little ones can run wild and the older ones can sit back
and enjoy the day.
On the table we had a 3 tier bow
cake accompanied by some delicious vanilla bean cupcakes. We also served
orange and mango lemonade in vintage milk bottles. We also had a mini
yoghurt bar with a selection of toppings. Which included some mandarins, dried
bananas, yummy pearl sprinkles, honeycomb and butterscotch sprinkles, mint choc
beans and caramel topping. Yoghurt were served in adorable ice-cream
glasses. A few bouquets of flowers were added to complete and add colour
to the picnic dessert table.
