Sparkle your way into the New Year

Wow I can’t believe Christmas is almost here and we are about to enter twenty twelve. How time flies when you are having fun! Today is also my birthday and i can't think of a better way of celebrating my special day than being with my family and friends who are very dear to me! I look forward to a weekend filled with oodles of celebrations and fun and thank you so much for all of your beautiful birthday emails and lovely wishes.

Twenty Eleven has been a very exciting year for me and My Little Jedi. Someone once told me “the most rewarding accomplishment in life is finding your own niche” and I am so glad that I have finally pursued my dream and turned it into a reality. Whether you've been reading since the beginning or just arrived here today, a HUGE thanks to all of you for reading and supporting my blog, my business and My Little Jedi online magazine! I would like to wish you a wonderful Christmas and I hope you have a blissful year ahead! Looking forward to a fabulous 2012!  ♥♥♥

For the Love of Confetti…

Sharnel said: The New Year is a time where we come together to reflect on the past year and look forward and dream of an even better year ahead. This NYE dessert table was designed with colour, sparkle and fun in mind. All elements needed to enable your dreams to come to fruition.

Confetti is a classic party decoration that has never dated. It evokes a sense of celebration and playfulness in all. The centre of our dessert table is a simple two tier double barrel cake covered in fondant adorned with stunning shimmer confetti dots.

Fragrant vanilla cupcakes with Baileys infused buttercream sit upon a layer of pink cachous to make the cupcakes sparkle. Little fondant discs with “Celebrate” embossed into them tie the theme together perfectly. Confetti cookies in three different sizes, some covered with disco glitter add that sparkle that we all associate with New Years Eve. Strawberry Cheesecake Martinis and pink Champagne tie the entire table together.
