Whimsy Garden by Avie & Lulu

Alex said: This beautiful setting is the perfect backdrop to play host to a whimsical garden party; whether it be for a grown-up little girl...or just a grown up girl! A floral bouquet of delicious treats come together in delicate shades of pink and peach, each showcased on a collection of both vintage and new cake stands. A dessert table which is truly all about the intricate desserts and where simple elements like adding a ruffle on an otherwise ordinary tablecloth make this a truly magical display. Mismatched vintage tea cups in girly pinks will lure guests to sip tea as they enjoy the delicious desserts and take time to sit back and smell the roses.

Grace's Christening

Spotted! Totally sweet & adorable modern Christening dessert table with a vintage twist! It’s got all of the recipes for a swoon-tastic celebration. What makes it even more special that my lovely friend Linda of Harper Event Design styled this gorgeous event for her beautiful daughter Grace. I am blown away by all the gorgeousness!

From ruffles to lace to ombre, these amazing cakes have MLJ written all over it! Totally my kind of celebration. When you combine the amazing styling of Linda with the gorgeous sweets made by Helen and having these precious moments captured by Jess, it all turns into magic! Did i mention this gorgeous dessert table was featured on Amy Atlas!

Linda said: I wanted to create a soft vintage feel to the room and decided on collecting hundreds of doilies to place on the tables accompanied by soft flowers. I also handmade pom poms and chocolate bars for every guest as a bonbonniere. For the dessert table, I wanted to use pastel pink, green and blue to reflect the invitations. I had the backdrop printed to create a vintage feel and added 3 different types of cakes. I wanted to create a youthful fun feel to the whole event and incorporated lots of lollies and sweets. Grace wore the Christening gown I was Christened in many years ago which made the event truly vintage.

Vintage Truck Dessert Table

Today i came across this gorgeous blog called {Whipper Berry} and i fell in love instantly! Who knew a party on the back of a truck could be so glamorous. There are so many things i love about this party, i dont know where to start! Well, it's no secret that the palette of lemon and dove grey is one of my favourite which has been applied to this dessert table beautifully. I absolutely adore the fabric chandelier and banner which has given the truck a touch of vinty glamour. There's just something about sugared pears, they always look so beautiful especially against that vintage tiered stand. For more details about this amazing vintage truck party, visit {whipper berry} blog. Enjoy xx
