Abigail's Christening styled by One Lovely Day

On Sunday i had the pleasure of styling a dessert table inspired by Miffy the rabbit for the christening of the little Abigail. I am not sure if you remember but last year i styled her sisters Morgan christening. What makes my heart sing is receiving lovely feedback from my clients, this is what i received today from Emma: 

"Thanks again for accepting to do our christening, you saved me the stress and worry and created a beautiful ambiance perfect for my daughters christening. Katerina's Christening Dessert Table

Elegant, sophisticated and dreamy is how I am going to describe our latest Christening dessert table which we styled together with Dewi of Sweet Bloom Cakes. For those of you who know me well, you would know that I have a soft spot for this elegant and dreamy colour palette {dove grey and peachy pink}.  Ruffles and lace go hand in hand and I believe we executed the theme beautifully. 

This is the lovely feedback from our client Effie: “Thanks so much for helping make Katerina's Christening such a memorable occasion! I was extremely impressed with your styling, everything looked amazing! I missed the entree as so many people were coming up to me to share how impressed they were with the dessert table and our table centrepieces :) I've even had texts and calls today regarding how lovely everything was. Julian's Christening

The last few weeks have been extremely busy especially with the launch of the autumn edition of My Little Jedi online magazine. Dewi and I are working on multiple projects at the moment and today we had the pleasure of styling the Christening of the precious little Julian and it was the perfect day for a beautiful celebration.

The colour palette of turquoise and orange tied in perfectly with the ocean backdrop. Dewi make the most magnificent ruffle cake, ruffle butter cream cupcakes and macarons in the shades of turquoise, orange and white. It is always so lovely to see the happy look on the clients face when they see the dessert table for the very first time! Danielle said: “Thanks ladies, my sons Christening was amazing thanks to you. Everyone love it!

Pink & Vintage White Christening

What a lovely way to start the New Year! Today, i had the pleasure of styling a dessert table for a little princess and let me tell you, everything look absolutely perfect! The Christening was held at the St. George Sailing Club and the waterfront views created the most magnificent backdrop. The theme of the christening was elegance and glamour and me as a stylist portrayed this through the choice of soft pink and vintage white palette, soft flowers and use of lace.

From the beautifully handcrafted lace cookies, elegant lace cake, divine rose pink cupcakes, every detail tied in perfectly with the theme. Each child received a party bag with some delicious treats. For the bonbonnieres, I used mini apothecary jars which I purchased via Sweet Style and I filled them up with cookies and embellished them with personalized scalloped tag and ribbon.
